i The Desert Exchange will close the Customer’s Account(s) if there are no transactions in the Account(s) for 180 days from the date of account registration. |
1. Products and Services through branch are subject to service charges and conversation rates (If applicable). 2. Additional fees may be levied by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances. 3. Penalties and Fees may be applied if there is a customer error or omission in providing correct or incomplete information for remittances. 4. Exchange rate used for the refund of money paid by the consumer may differ from the original rate used for the transfer, and any costs which could be incurred for the cancellation caused by the consumer. 6. There may be additional and significant costs charged by the receiving entities should there be errors / omission in the remittance information provided by the consumer causing a rejection of, or delays in the transfer. 7. Desert Exchange reserves the rights to use services of intermediary Banks and Financial Institutions in any country of its convenient for the execution of this transfer. 8. Desert Exchange will not disclose the confidential information of the client to any third-party unless it is required to do so by any applicable Law or Regulation within or outside the region. 9. Desert Exchange reserves the right to recover any amount paid due to errors and omissions. 10. Currency once bought or sold from /to the customer, can be returned only with a new transaction at the lowest rate. *Lowest rate means (if the current market rate is higher /lower than the rate at which the customer sold /purchased the currency, the lowest rate will be applied whichever is lower current market rate /the transaction rate). 11. The exchange rate quoted or displayed by Desert Exchange through any means including but not limited to telephonic, website, etc. is an indicative rate only and is subject to change as per market fluctuations. 6. قد تكون هناك تكاليف إضافية وكبيرة تفرضها الجهات المتلقية في حالة وجود أخطاء / إغفال في معلومات التحويل المقدمة من قبل المستهلك مما يؤدي إلى رفض التحويل أو تأخيره.
7. تحتفظ شركة ديزرت للصرافة بالحق في استخدام خدمات البنوك الوسيطة والمؤسسات المالية في أي بلد يناسبها تنفيذ هذا التحويل.
8. لن تقوم شركة ديزرت للصرافة بالكشف عن المعلومات السرية الخاصة بالعميل إلى أي طرف ثالث ما لم يكن ذلك مطلوبًا بموجب أي قانون أو لائحة معمول بها داخل المنطقة أو خارجها 9. تحتفظ شركة ديزرت للصرافة بالحق في استرداد أي مبلغ تم دفعه بسبب الأخطاء والسهو 10. لا يمكن إرجاع العملة التي تم شراؤها أو بيعها من/إلى العميل إلا من خلال معاملة جديدة وبأقل سعر. *السعر الأدنى يعني (إذا كان سعر السوق الحالي أعلى/أقل من السعر الذي باع/شراء به العميل العملة، فسيتم تطبيق أقل سعر أيهما أقل سعر السوق الحالي/سعر المعاملة) 11. إن سعر الصرف المقتبس أو المعروض من قبل شركة ديزرت للصرافة عبر أي وسيلة بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر الهاتف أو الموقع الإلكتروني وما إلى ذلك هو سعر إرشادي فقط ويخضع للتغيير حسب تقلبات السوق. وفقاً لذلك

- The details of the transaction mentioned in this receipt shall be considered as final and it is the responsibility of the client to go through the same before leaving the branch and to bring to the notice of the concerned staff if there is any error or omission in the same.
- Desert Exchange shall not be liable, if the payment of a telegraphic is stopped or funds withheld by action of a de-facto authority for any reason or cause whatsoever.
- In the absence of specific instructions, all charges /commissions out the UAE are for the beneficiary’s account. The customer may be unable to obtain full value under a telegraphic transfer on account of exchange or other restrictions applicable in the country of payment or to the paying bank or charges and fees of the paying bank.
- The estimated time for the funds to be transferred to the beneficiary will be informed at the time of transaction. However, time taken to transfer funds can be delayed due to various reasons.
- If a client is willing to amend the remittance transaction details, any charges incurred on such amendment shall be borne by the client.
- Encashment of the remittance is subject to any exchange control or other restrictions which may be imposed by the rules and regulations of the country where encashment is to be made. Neither the Desert Exchange nor its correspondents or agents shall be liable for any loss or delay caused by any such rules and regulations.
- If a refund or non-payment of the remitted amount is desired from the Desert Exchange by the applicant, after receipt of funds from the beneficiary’s Bank, the Desert Exchange shall at its discretion make the payment to the applicant at the prevailing buying rate for the relevant currency less all charges and expenses.
- The Customer understands that the Desert Exchange shall not be held responsible for any erroneous Payment to Account, Bank, and Credit Institutions, arising out of incorrect, incomplete or illegible details such as Name, Account number, Bank’s Name, Branch etc. provided by the Customer.
- Any cancellation of remittance transaction shall be entertained only on submission of remitter’s written request duly signed and stating the valid reason for such cancellation and must be submitted along with the original transaction receipt.
- Refund shall be provided once the stop payment is confirmed (or) funds are received back from the correspondent /Intermediary Bank or its Agent.
- On rejection or cancellation of a remittance transaction, the due amount, if any, will be paid to the original remitter at (prevailing) buying rate after deducting all the bank charges.
- For transactions that require a cross currency conversion, the Desert Exchange will convert to the currency of the payment at the rate of exchange prevailing or agreed rates for purchasing & selling the relevant currency at the time of processing of the transaction.
- Correspondent /Intermediary banks may charge commissions, fees, or other charges in making the payment to the beneficiary’s account. The correspondent /Intermediary bank will either deduct those commission, fees, or charges from the funds paid to the beneficiary’s account, or pass them on to the bank where the deduction is made, the beneficiary will receive less than the payment account specified in your instructions. If the commissions, fees, or other charges are passed to the Bank then you will be required to reimburse the Desert Exchange for those charges.
- In the event, the Desert Exchange has reason to believe that the payment instruction submitted may have compliance related issues in any country, the correspondent /Intermediary Bank may cancel or delay the payment. It is also understood and agreed that any request for the information available related to the transaction will be submitted to the correspondent Bank in the event the Desert Exchange receives query(s) from any correspondent /Intermediary bank relating to this payment instruction.
- Unclaimed amount lying pending for a longer period, can only be refunded as per internal policy.
- All refunds will be paid in UAE Dirham (AED) only.
- For all Instant Money Transfers products such as Trans Fast, Instant Cash, or any other, kindly refer to the website of the respective service provider for their terms and conditions.
- Desert Exchange will not misuse the data of the clients and share their data only as per the company policies which can be referred to on the website.
- For multi-currency remittances, there will be a back-end deduction. The charges for tracer/amendment/cancellation shall be applied – if applicable.

OUR RESPONSE
You will receive an email with a unique complaint reference number, and we will formally confirm within two working days that we received your complaint via call/email.
We normally aim to resolve all complaints as soon as possible, and in case the resolution is taking longer than usual, we will update you on its progress.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint within 14 days, we will:
